Ceratogaulus

Since I didn’t get around to post anything yesterday I decided to post 2 Prehistoric Creatures today for all of you die-hards following along at home. The first is a requested fan favorite, the Ankylosaurus. This dinosaur was a stocky quadrupedal herbivore of the Cretaceous era known for its armor plated hide and large fearsome boney clubbed tail. The second prehistoric creature is the Ceratogaulus known as the Horned Gopher of the Miocene. This innocuous burrowing creature lived a lifestyle very similar to the gophers or groundhogs of today aside from the pronounced protuberance of 2 large sharp horns on its snout, the only rodent ever to evolve this strange feature.
